With the win, Bate advanced to the tournament finals. He will face Ivar, who defeated Apollo Crews on the May 8 episode. The winner of that match will earn a shot at the WWE Speed Championship, which is held by Ricochet. Ricochet beat Johnny Gargano in the finals of the tournament that crowned the inaugural champion.

Triple H has said that women will eventually compete on WWE Speed.
