The report states that Psycho Clown will no longer accept indie bookings beyond August 2025, fueling speculation that he has already signed a deal with WWE.

While neither Psycho Clown nor WWE have issued public confirmation, multiple sources close to the situation reportedly believe the signing is complete and that the masked luchador will officially report to WWE later this year. WWE’s acquisition of AAA in April 2025 has already opened the door to crossover talent and increased scouting of Mexican stars, making a potential move for Psycho Clown a logical development.

The report comes just weeks after Psycho Clown teamed with El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Pagano at the WWE x AAA: Worlds Collide event, where the trio faced Legado del Fantasma in what many described as one of the best matches of the night. Despite their loss, the match showcased Psycho Clown’s star power in front of a WWE audience, further fueling speculation that a full-time transition was imminent.

Psycho Clown has been one of AAA’s biggest stars for well over a decade. Known for his high-energy performances and charismatic persona, he gained international attention in 2017 after winning the legendary mask vs. mask main event at Triplemanía XXV, defeating Dr. Wagner Jr. in one of the most important matches in Mexican wrestling history. He has also held numerous championships in AAA, including the AAA Latin American Title, and has long been viewed as one of the most marketable names in lucha libre.
