Round Five

Channing with a single leg take down and he goes for an Indian Death Lock.  Tony with punches to get out of the hold.  Tony punches Channing.  Tony wtih clotheslines and a belly-to-belly suplex and a spinebuster.  Tony biels Channing over the top rope onto wannabe Tony Mamaluke Army.  Luca makes the save for Tony but Luca accidentally hits Tony with the bucket.  Channing with a suplex.

Channing with a knee to the back for the three count.

Winner:  Channing Lorenzo (new champion)

After the match, Tony punches Luca and leaves.

– Sarah Schreiber asks Fatal Influence about Blake Monroe. Fallon asks if Blake thought she would go to the top?  She learned her position is at their feet.  Jacy says Blake says Glamour is forever but the only thing that is forever is their dominance and her being champion. Jacy is asked about the Number One Contender Match.  She says they will be out there to see who the lucky person is who will get their hand raised.  It won’t be raised in Atlanta.

We go to commercial.

– We are back and Thea Hail talks to the LFG people and she mentions that she had Jaida tapped out.  It doesn’t matter any more. Lainey Reid says Thea learned how to be played like a fiddle.  She says Thea hasn’t changed a bit and she will move right past her. The Lash ALERT sounds and she says to wait until she is done with her match.

– Ava asks Ethan Page what was that.  He says that was Ricky Saints being Ricky Saints.  He says he has been on his best behavior. Ava says she is sick of this.  Ethan says all she has to do is keep Ricky away from him. Ava says him and Ricky will be in his office next week to deal with this. Ethan calls for Vanity Project.

– We see Tank Ledger down in the back.

– Sarah is with Joe Hendry and he says it is great to be back.  He says Battleground is a night he remembers every day.  He cannot change the past but he can control the future when he gets his chance to take his title back at Slammiversary.  He says since Trick shows up in TNA, he figured he would show up in NXT. Joe is asked about Wes Lee and he mentions that Wes started in TNA but he will take care of him next week.

We go to commercial.

– We are back with the latest from Chase University. Andre tells Kale this is new to him and to Andre.  What he said is fact.  The toughest road creates champions.  He says you have to toughen up. Uriah says Chase cannot talk to him like that. Andre tells Uriah to respect that he knows what he is doing. Kale says that was the attitude that built the university and what destroyed it.Uriah and Kale talk about how they cannot believe they tried to get this reopened.

– Next week, Jasper Troy faces Yoshiki Inamura to see who faces Oba at Great American Bash.  Myles Borne faces Lexis King.  Joe Hendry faces Wes Lee.  

Evolution Eliminator Match – Winner faces Jacy Jayne at Evolution Lash Legend vs. Jordynne Grace vs. Jaida Parker vs. Izzi Dame

Grace and Izzi exchange punches and go to the floor while Jaida and Lash pair off.  Jaida with a kick and Lash with a forearm.  Lash with a punch and a uranage back breaker.  Lash with a suplex to Jaida.  Izzi comes into the ring for her medicine and she circles the ring with Lash.  Izzi pushes Lash and Lash pushes back.  Lash with a hard Irish whip to Grace while Izzi takes care of Jaida.  Izzi escapes a slam attempt and Lash does the same.  Lash with a chop and Izzi chops back.  Lash with a clothesline to Izzi and she sends Izzi to the floor.  Grace tries to send Lash to the floor and Lash with a chop and shoulders.  Lash misses a shoulder in the corner and she hits the ring post and goes to the floor when Grace floats over. Grace with forearms to Jaida followed by a kick and chop to the bakc.  Grace with a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall.  Izzi runs Grace into the corner and connects with forearms and chops.

Izzi with a back drop to Grace.  Izzi with a suplex to Grace but Lash breaks up the cover.  Parker with a springboard cross body to Lash.  Parker kicks Izzi and Parker with a gourdbuster to Grace and Lash trips Jaida and pulls her to the floor.  Lash sends Jaida into the announce table.  Grace with a suicide dive to Lash.  Izzi with a choke slam onto the apron.  Jaida with a clothesline to Izzi.  Izzi with a kick to Jaida.  Tatum grabs Jaida’ by the ankle and Jaida with a rollup to Izzi for a near fall.  Izzi with a back elbow.

Sol and Zaria come to the ring to berate Tatum and they take away Izzi’s friend.

Izzi is confused and Lash with a forearm to the back.  Lash with shoulders to Jaida but Jaida with a rollup for a near fall.  Lash with a kick to Jaida.  Lash slams Jaida’s head into the mat.  Lash with an elbow drop to Jaida’s back for a near fall.  Lash rings Jaida’s bell in the ropes.  Lash gets Grace on her shoulders but Izzi tries to stop her.  Lash grabs Izzi and she rings both of their bells in the ropes.  Lash sends Izzi into the turnbuckles.  Lash sends Jaida into the turnbuckles.  Jaida with a sleeper and she gets on Lash’s back.  Grace with forearms to the back of the neck on Izzi.  Grace with a camel cluth on Izzi and Izzi appears to have tapped.  Grace and Jaida slap each other.

Now it is time for a game of chickent but Izzi and Lash get Grace and Parker off their backs.  Izzi misses a Yakuza kick and Jaida puts Izzi in the ropes and Jaida with the springboard seated splash.  She puts Grace in the ropes and does the same.  Lash misses a bicycle kick and Jada gets Lash up and hits a Samoan drop.  Jaida gets Grace up but Izzi with a boot to Jaida.  Izzi with a uranage side slam for a near fall.  Lash with an uppercut to Izzi.  Lash with knees to the back and she swings Jaida into Izzi and she slams Jaida.  Lash gets a near fall.  Grace with an elbow to Lash and she goes to the turnbuckles.  Lash with a forearm.  Jaida with a lungblower to Lash and Jaida with a punch to Grace on the turnbuckles.  Jaida sets for a superplex on Grace but Lash gets Jaida on her shoulders.  Jaida goes for a sunet flip but Lash windmills.

Grace with a cross body to Lash for a near fall.  Izzi with a forearm to Jaida and Jaida fires back.  Izzi runs into a back elbow.  Jaida goes to the turnbuckles and Izzi stops her.  Izzi sets for a superplex.  Lash sets for the double superplex.  Grace goes up top and hits a sunset flip Tower of Doom.  Grace gets a series of near falls on each woman.  Grace with a standing power slam and she misses a moonsault.  Jaida with a running hip but Grace falls to the floor.  Izzi with a Codebreaker to Jaida and Lash with a bicycle kick and she sends Izzi to the floor.  Lash with Lash Extension but Grace with a slingshot double stomp to break up the cover  Grace with Three Seconds Around the World for the three count.

Winner:  Jordynne Grace

After the match, Grace points to Jacy on the HBalKony, as we go to credits.

After Briggs’ tag partner, Yoshiki Inamura, shocked the world by pinning Williams in a recent tag bout, he offered Briggs the “golden opportunity” to take the spotlight and challenge for the gold.

The drama continues as the NXT UK Heritage Cup becomes the latest casualty in the escalating D’Angelo Family Civil War. Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, once allies, now clash for the vacant trophy in a match guaranteed to be as personal as it is technical.

Plus, four fierce competitors will battle in an Evolution Eliminator Match, with a title shot against NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne at the upcoming all-women’s Evolution event hanging in the balance.
