Roman Reigns Return Plans in Motion – Roman Reigns may be preparing for a return to WWE television, with internal discussions reportedly taking place about “The Tribal Chief” in recent weeks.
According to WrestleVotes, Reigns’ name has resurfaced during WWE’s creative meetings—a development that usually indicates preliminary plans are forming for an on-screen return. While nothing has been officially confirmed, the timing aligns with WWE’s build toward SummerSlam 2025, which is set to take place on Saturday, August 2.
They wrote: “It seems that time of year again—Roman Reigns’ return is on the horizon. Sources indicate his name has popped up internally in recent weeks, typically signaling the wheels are in motion for a return heading into the biggest party of the summer.”
Reigns has not appeared on WWE programming since the RAW after WrestleMania 41. That night, he was the victim of a shocking betrayal at the hands of Paul Heyman, who aligned himself with Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker—two of the latest additions to Rollins’ emerging faction, The Visionary’s Disciples.
Since that attack, WWE has provided no official update on Reigns’ condition or a target date for his return. The absence has left fans speculating about when the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion will step back into the spotlight, especially given his central role in WWE’s main event scene over the last several years.
While WrestleVotes’ report does not confirm a return date, past patterns suggest that internal chatter is often the first step toward a major comeback, especially for a star of Reigns’ stature.
As SummerSlam draws closer, all eyes will be on whether WWE begins to tease his return in the coming weeks.
