Despite differentiating his NJPW past from his AEW present, Omega acknowledged the weight of his upcoming match with Okada.

“This is a very special match to me. The series of matches with Okada have always been special, and hold a near and dear place in my heart,” Omega said. “I hope to have a performance people will enjoy, and a performance that I can be proud of, and hopefully, that other people can be proud of as well.”

Omega also lauded the rest of the All In card for its unpredictability. Omega clarified that he was unaware of other match finishes by choice, but promised that “All In” would be a dramatic, “great event” for AEW’s fanbase. All In will be hosted in Texas on Saturday, July 12.
