Triple H Praises WWE Team After Historic Two-Night SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium – Following the conclusion of WWE’s historic first-ever two-night SummerSlam event at MetLife Stadium, Paul “Triple H” Levesque took to social media on Monday morning to express his appreciation for the extensive team effort behind the production.

Levesque acknowledged the substantial logistical and technical demands required to execute the back-to-back premium live events, praising the contributions of WWE’s production staff. In his message, he emphasized the importance of the company’s behind-the-scenes personnel, writing:

“SummerSlam doesn’t just happen…It’s built from the ground up by the most dedicated, passionate, and hardest working team in the business,” he wrote. “From lighting rigs and camera shots, to pyro and production trucks — this crew is the engine behind it all.

“Thank you to every single member of the @WWE team who made these incredible nights possible. We don’t just put on a show—we create moments that last a lifetime.”

This year’s SummerSlam featured a series of significant developments across both nights. Seth Rollins captured the World Heavyweight Championship on Night One after cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase against CM Punk. Night Two concluded with Cody Rhodes reclaiming the Undisputed WWE Championship from John Cena in a Street Fight main event. The weekend also included Brock Lesnar’s unannounced return, marking his first on-screen appearance since SummerSlam 2023 and his first since being named in Janel Grant’s amended civil lawsuit against WWE and Vince McMahon.

WWE has confirmed that the two-night format will return for SummerSlam in 2026, with U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, announced as the host venue. This move signals WWE’s broader strategy of transforming its major events into extended destination weekends, a model that has proven commercially successful with WrestleMania and now, evidently, SummerSlam.
