Ridge Holland Issues Post-Surgery Update After Injury

Ridge Holland Issues Post-Surgery Update After Injury – Ridge Holland has given his first public update since undergoing surgery for a significant foot injury suffered during a TNA Wrestling match tied to the ongoing crossover storyline with WWE.

In a video posted to social media on Saturday, Holland appeared upbeat as he began his road to recovery. While acknowledging the setbacks he has faced throughout his wrestling career, he stressed determination to return stronger than ever.

“So just laying here, just taking me painkillers, taking me some lovely hydrocodone, which takes the edge off slightly,” Holland said, before reflecting on the bad timing of the injury. “For the past seven years it’s been a bit of a bumpy ride with the wrestling business. Just as I start to get rolling something happens, same again this time. TNA, a couple of good matches and then this happens. But again, we heal, we recover, we march forward and I’m looking forward to coming back and getting in the best shape of my life.“

He closed his message with words of encouragement: “I’m using all these injuries and all these ups and downs. I’m using it as a lesson to my kids and anyone else that wants to take notice that it doesn’t matter what happens to you, really. There’s always a way back if you just believe.”

Holland was injured at a TNA taping in Edmonton, Alberta, during a match against Moose. After landing awkwardly on his left leg, the contest was stopped immediately. He was assisted to the back and later confirmed that he suffered a Lisfranc injury—a severe mid-foot injury that often requires a lengthy recovery time ranging from six months to a year. His surgery was successfully completed this past Friday.
