
10/11 AEW Collision Results – It’s Saturday and AEW Collision which was recorded on Wednesday at Daley’s Place in Jacksonville Florida. Our commentary team is Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness.
We start with short promos from everyone in the major matches and The Acclaimed still hate each other.
Kota Ibushi vs Josh Alexander
They take time to lock up, but Josh is able to force them into the ropes, where they break clean. They lock up a second time and Kota forces them to the ropes and break clean. Kota drops Josh with a kick and Josh bails to the floor to regroup. As the referee is with Kota, Josh attacks him from behind. Josh gets a headlock takeover and works over Kota on the mat. Kota works to his feet and Josh gets a shoulder tackle.
Kota gets a drop-kick as they run the ropes and Kota dives over the top onto Josh. Kota high-fives with fans and then lays in kicks on Josh on the floor. Josh grabs his leg and runs it into the ring post and then drops Kota as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Josh pulls Kota up and shoves him into the corner before punching Kota in the midsection. Josh misses a change and Kota gets a power clam and then a full nelson German suplex. Both men struggle to get up and when Kota is up, he lays in kicks on Josh. He then gets a flurry of blows on Josh and a running clothesline. Kota hits a standing moonsault for two.
They both try for big holds and Josh is able to get an ankle lock. Kota rolls through and Josh goes into the turnbuckle. Josh dodges a charge and slams Kota for two. Josh goes to the top and misses a dive. Kota gets a kick followed by a half-and-half suplex. Kota hits a running double knee strike for two. Josh goes to the apron and Kota misses a pump kick. Josh gets a series of strikes and then slams Kota on the apron.
Josh gets a knee to Kota on the floor and rolls Kota into the ring, and rolls Kota into the ring for a clothesline and a two count. Josh puts Kota on the top and joins him there and starts to pick him up, but Kota falls to the floor and Josh follows.
Josh returns to the ring and the ref checks on Kota, who is holding onto his right knee. The medical team checks on Kota and the ref counts to ten.
Winner: Josh Alexander
It was an ugly fall and I hope Kota’s injury isn’t as bad as it looked.
Don Callis starts a promo about how this is what happens when you cross the Family, and Mark Davis comes from the back to pay in blows on Kota (carefully avoiding the legs) and Kenny Omega comes out for the save.
We get a promo video for Mark Briscoe and Kyle Fletcher at WrestleDream.
Then a hype video for Adam Page vs Samoa Joe.
Big Bill and Bryan Keith vs Max Caster and Anthony Bowens
Bryan and Bowens start the match, but Max tags in before they lock up. Max picks the leg and covers Bryan for one and gets a few quick drops for no count until Bowens gets a blind tag. Bryan and Bowens lock up and run the ropes with Bowens getting a shoulder tackle. They run the ropes and Bowens gets a pair of kicks and a face buster. As Bowens preens to the crowd, Bill tags in. Bowens then tags in Max and Max tags Bowens in. Bowens tags out again and then drops to the floor as Bill gets a splash on Max in the corner.
Max runs the ropes and tries for a sunset flip after getting a tag to Bowens. Bill blocks the flip and Bowens gets a Famouser on him. Bowens and Max are in the ring together and stare at each other, and they get jumped by Bill and Bryan. Bill and Bryan double team Max as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Bowens has been in the ring as Bill and Bryan work him over and Max is enjoying Bowens getting beat down. Max leads a chant for Bill. Max calls for the big boot and Bill gives it to him. Bill mocks the scissoring and then tags in Bryan and they go back to work. Max actually calls for the tag, and Bowens finally gets a tag.
Max works over Bryan, but as they fight on the floor, he misses a punch on the floor and instead hits the ring post. They run the ropes in the ring and Max gets a Death Valley driver for two. Max goes to the top and Bowens tags himself in. As they argue Bryan shoves them into each other and covers Bowens for two. Max and Bowens argue again and dodge an attack from Bill. Bowens hits the mollywomp on Bryan for the pin and the win.
Winners: Max Caster and Anthony Bowens
They continue to argue after the match.
We then get a promo from the Bang Bagn Gang interrupted from Bill and Bryan. They have a shouting match before Bill and Bryan back off.
Tay Jay (Tay Melo and Anna Jay) vs the Already In The Ring Dreamgirl Ellie and Carolina Cruz
Tay Jay win with a Gori Special into a knee strike for the pin and the win.
Winners: Tay Jay
Next up is a recap of the feud between Jon Moxley and Darby Allin, and we are told that because of the heightened nature of the violence between the two, they will only have a final confrontation if they agree to certain conditions.
We then get a promo from everyone in the Death Riders without Claudio Castagnoli about how dangerous and violent Jon Moxley will be to Darby Allin.
Toni Storm, Harley Cameron, and Kris Statlander vs the Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue)
Toni and Thekla start the match with Toni charging and giving Thekla kicks and a hair whip across the ring and then stomps her down on the corner. Toni gives another hair whip and Thekla recovers with a claw hold. Thekla gets a mule kick, but Toni gets a Thesz press and tags in Harley. Thekla knocks Harley to her corner and Blue tags in and hoists Harley. Harley gets a drop toe hold and a shotgun drop-kick for one. Harley gets a slash in the corner and Kris tags in and slams Harley onto Skye for two.
Kris gets a stalled vertical suplex, a few chops and a scoop slam for two. Kris grabs Skye’s leg, and Skye rolls through, running Kris into the corner. Julia tags in and Kris gets a power slam and tags Toni. Toni gets a snap suplex for one. Harley tags in and gets an insigiri for two. Harley gets a pair of hammer and elbow strikes, but gets a foot grabbed by Skye before Thekla gives her a kick to the head and Julia covers for two as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Harley has been the babyface in peril. Harley gets an Eat the Feet on Skye and tags in Toni, who runs wild. Skye and Julia are able to cut her off with a double team, but Toni reverses a double suplex and tags in Kris, who takes out each member of the Triangle in the corner and gets a neckbreaker on Julia, then drops Skye on Julia for two.
Harley tags in and assists with a face-plant on Julie for two, broken up by Thekla. Harley gets a backstabber on Thekla and it’s time for everyone to get a big move on the last person in the ring. During this, Toni catches a boot from Kris and they slowly separate. Harley gets a rollup on Thekla for two. Thekla gets a spear on Harley for the pin and the win.
Winners: Triangle of Madness.
Toni holds the belt and then smells it before giving it to Kris when she leaves the ring.
Kenny Omega is backstage and talks about how Don Callis is making it personal by taking out his friends, and it won’t end until one of them is…and he is interrupted by Jack Perry. Perry says he is sorry about what happened to Kota Ibushi and he has Omega’s back. Kenny talks about how Perry mocked him and doesn’t trust him. Perry says they have the same enemies. Omega says if Perry wants to have his back, he’ll see him at Dynamite and then tells him to get out.
MxMTV comes to the ring for the Casting Call. Mansoor heels the crowd, and says they will take on any combination of anyone in the back. He also mocks the ring announcer.
La Faccion Ingobernobles (Dralistico, Rush, and Sammy Guevara) vs MxMTV (Mansoor, Mason Madden and Johnny TV)
Dralistico and TV start the match with kicks and takedowns. TV tags in Monsoor and after Dralistico kicks him in the guy, Sammy tags in and gets a drop-kick. He then tags in Rush, Madden charges into Sammy and then repeatedly slams him into the mat before a power bomb. MxMTV poses and La Faccion comes in to break it up. TV and Dralistico fight on the apron and Dralistico hits a hurricanrana to the floor. Taya Valkyrie gets a hurricanrana on Dralistico on the floor.
Rush and Madden fight in the ring and Rush dumps him to the floor. Rush beats down Mansoor, Dralistico gets a lung blower, and Rush gives him the Bull’s horns. Sammy tags in for a 450 splash, the pin, and the win.
Winner: La Faccion Ingobernables.
Eddie Kingston vs Mortos
Eddie comes out as soon as the other match is complete and they charge into each other until Mortos gets a headbutt. Eddie gets his feet up in the corner and then a flying shoulder tackle Mortos rolls to the floor for a time-out. When he gets back in the ring, Eddie gets a headlock takedown. They work to their feet and Mortos gets a series of attacks in the corner before getting a shoulder snap. He stomps on Eddie as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Eddie is laying in chops and works Mortos into the corner. After the machine gun chops, Mortos fires back and then gets a lariat for two. Mortos misses a charge and tumbles to the floor. Eddie dives onto him and rolls Mortos into the ring. Eddie gets a neck breaker for two. Eddie picks Mortos up and Mortos bites his hand so Eddie bites him back. Mortos gets a spear for two.
Mortos goes to the top and misses a moonsault. Eddie gets an exploder suplex and gets the spinning back fist for the pin and the win.
Winner: Eddie Kingston
Hook raises Eddie’s hand in victory as LFI attacks them.
Lexi is with the Triangle of Madness, and they are attacked by Queen Aminata and Jamie Hayter. They are pulled apart by security.
We get a promo from Katsuyori Shibata about how he wants to take on Rush and they will put up the Trios belts against LFI.
FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Megan Bayne w/Penelope Ford and Stokley vs Jet Speed (Speedball Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight) and Willow Nightingale
Willow and Megan start the match and when they lock yup Megan forces them to the ropes, Willow reverses and they break clean in the middle of the ring. Megan slaps Willow. Willow tries for a shoulder tackle, and they lock up again. Willow tries a shoulder tackle again, and Megan pulls her down. Willow gets a scoop slam. Willow then gets ten lariats in the corner for a one count.
Megan tags in Dax and Knight is tagged in as well. They lock up and run the ropes with Knight getting shoulder tackles, but runs into a series of blows from Dax. Knight gets a leaping clothesline and a drop-kick and this brings the rest of FTR into the ring, but Knight won’t hit Megan. Dax clubs him and they fight in the corner. Knight kicks Cash off the apron and the tag team siren goes off and everyone is fighting in the ring, ending with Knight pinning Dax for two.
Willow tries for a drop-kick from the top on Dax, but Megan shoves Dax out of the way. Megan and Willow fight on the floor as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Cash misses a leap onto Willow and crotches himself in the corner. Speedball tags in and runs wild. To end the sequence, Speedball goes for a sunset flip, and Knight gets a leaping clothesline on him for two. Speedball gets a series of kicks and a running shooting star press for two. Cash pulls Knight off the apron and slams him into the barricade. Megan gets a fallaway slam on Speedball and then leaps onto Knight on the floor. Dax gets a brain buster for two.
Cash tags in and Speedball gets a flurry of kicks and then a spinning DDT off the turnbuckles. Cash rolls to the floor and Speedball crawls toward his corner. Megan is tagged in and gets a stalling brain buster on Speedball and then she hits a German suplex after a big strike. Speedball dodges a splash, and tags in Willow. Dax is tagged in and she pummels Dax until Cash grabs her, and she is able to do the same to him. Willow gets an insigiri on Dax. Knight gets a drop-kick and Willow slams Dax for two.
Dax shoves Willow to the ropes where Megan punches her. Dax rolls Willow up for two. Megan tags in and Willow sets for a power bomb on Megan, but Ford gets on the apron. Willow pulls her into the ring and hits her with a pounce. Willow gets a dragon screw on Megan and then a sharpshooters as her parents get FTR in sharpshooters as well. Jetspeed leap on to FTR on the floor and Willow beats down Megan in the corner.
Stokely tries to get into the ring as Ford and Megan set up and give Willow the Doomsday Device for the pin and the win.
Winners: FTR and Megan Bayne
When Megan goes for a post match beat down, Harley Cameron shows up to chase them off.
