Moose Denies Rumors of TNA Handing Out Free Tickets for Bound For Glory

Moose Denies Rumors of TNA Handing Out Free Tickets for Bound For Glory – TNA Wrestling achieved a major milestone on Sunday, October 12, 2025, as the company set a new all-time attendance record during its Bound For Glory pay-per-view. The event, held at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell, drew an announced crowd of 7,794 fans. The figure was revealed to the audience live on air by TNA star Chris Bey, marking the highest attendance in TNA’s 23-year history.

This record surpassed the company’s previous mark set earlier in the year. In July, the Slammiversary event at the UBS Arena in New York drew 7,623 attendees. Bound For Glory not only broke TNA’s internal record but also set a new attendance record for any sporting event ever held at the Tsongas Center.

Despite the celebration, some online fans speculated that the record was inflated due to a large number of complimentary tickets being distributed. In response, TNA star Moose addressed the rumors on X (formerly Twitter), firmly dismissing those claims.

“For the people saying half of our record setting attendance record was free tickets given are brain dead,” Moose wrote. He then referenced TNA’s earlier years, recalling, “In 2016/17 myself, The Hardy’s, Eddie, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, [and] Lashley wrestled at Universal in front of only 150 people where every single ticket were free because Universal didn’t allow ticket sales.”

Moose clarified that some comped tickets are standard practice but denied any exaggerated numbers. “I could understand 200/300 comped tickets for sponsors and media purposes and friends and family but 3k No,” he said. “No business will take an outstanding loss just to fill up an arena… if it was that easy every company would do it and we would have done it a decade ago when we [were] struggling to get 500 people to attend a show. Just enjoy the growth and the win.”

The impressive turnout at Bound For Glory underscores TNA’s ongoing resurgence, capping off one of the company’s strongest years in recent memory.
