Seth Rollins Pulled from WWE Japan Tour Following Shoulder Injury – WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has been officially removed from WWE’s upcoming Japan tour, marking the first major schedule change since his recent shoulder injury at Crown Jewel: Perth.

Updated ticket listings confirm that Rollins is no longer advertised for the Tokyo events scheduled for Friday, October 17, and Saturday, October 18, at Ryogoku Sumo Hall. Originally, Rollins was set to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk on October 17, followed by a six-man tag team match on October 18 alongside Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed against Punk, Jey Uso, and Shinsuke Nakamura.

The revised lineup now lists CM Punk vs. Dominik Mysterio for October 17, while Punk will team with Nakamura on October 18 to face Breakker and Reed. Rollins’ removal from both cards strongly suggests WWE is adjusting upcoming storylines in response to his injury.

Rollins sustained the injury during his match with Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel: Perth after landing awkwardly on a coast-to-coast headbutt attempt. He was later spotted wearing a sling, indicating a possible shoulder issue. On this week’s special morning edition of RAW in Australia, Rollins was attacked by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in a post-match ambush, effectively writing him off television.

According to backstage reports, Breakker’s heel turn and separation from the Vision faction were originally planned for later this year but were moved up due to Rollins’ condition. Medical evaluations are expected soon to determine the severity of the injury and the champion’s timeline for return.
