Rey Mysterio Returns to RAW, Confronts Dominik – Rey Mysterio made his highly anticipated return on the November 3 episode of WWE RAW, going face-to-face with his son, WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio, in an emotional and heated confrontation.

Dominik opened the segment by demanding respect from the crowd, calling himself “the King of the Luchadores.” He declared that after his victory on Saturday, he proved beyond any doubt that he is the greatest Intercontinental Champion, the greatest AAA Mega Champion, and the greatest luchadore of all time.

That’s when Rey Mysterio’s music hit to a huge ovation. The legendary luchador made his way to the ring to confront his son. Rey told Dominik that while he can call himself a great champion, claiming to be “King of the Luchadores” crosses the line. “Every time you say that, you insult our family and our blood,” Rey said. He then asked Dominik if he truly believed he was better than legends like El Santo, Blue Demon, and Eddie Guerrero — comments that drew loud “Dirty Dom” chants from the crowd.

Dominik snapped back, telling Rey to “keep my father’s name out of your mouth,” referring to Eddie. He said he’s better than any Guerrero and especially better than Rey himself. “You’re just jealous,” Dominik taunted. “You’re stealing my mustache. You’re here to cash in because I made the Mysterio name relevant.”

Rey stood his ground, saying Dominik could disrespect him all he wanted, but he would not allow him to disrespect lucha libre. As tensions rose, Rey removed his sweatshirt, ready for a fight. Dominik told his father to leave the ring, but Rey refused, saying, “As long as I’m around, you’ll never be King of the Luchadores, this will never be your ring, and you’ll never be the greatest Mysterio.”
