Belair sustained her injury during the Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania 41 against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY, which left her with multiple broken fingers. In a July interview with CBS Sports, she detailed the extent of her injury and the struggles it caused in her daily life.

“I broke it in three places and the joint. It healed, but it won’t bend,” Belair explained. “You can’t wrestle with a straight finger because it’ll break again… I can’t even sew right now. I can’t even make gear. We’re on the end of this healing process, so we might have some time, but you never know. Crazy things happen.”

While Belair continues her recovery, the women’s division has evolved significantly. Her former tag team partner, Jade Cargill, has since turned heel and captured the WWE Women’s Championship.
