Mark Briscoe Captures AEW TNT Championship at Full Gear

Mark Briscoe Captures AEW TNT Championship at Full Gear – Mark Briscoe has secured his first AEW TNT Championship after surviving a brutal No Disqualification match against Kyle Fletcher at Full Gear PPV. The fight pushed both men to their limits and delivered one of the most chaotic encounters of the night, with ladders, tables, chairs, and thumbtacks all becoming part of the story.

The match opened with Fletcher using the environment to his advantage, countering a charge from Briscoe and sending him crashing spine-first into a ladder. Fletcher piled on more punishment by bodyslamming Briscoe onto a second ladder and throwing it across his body before trying for an early pin. When that failed, he placed Briscoe on the top rope and climbed a ladder wedged in the corner, but Briscoe fought him off and hurled the ladder back at him, following with a shotgun dropkick.

The intensity escalated outside the ring. Briscoe hammered Fletcher with chair shots and placed him on a table, but Fletcher rolled off and set up six chairs facing each other. Briscoe fired back with another chair shot, climbed the ropes, and nearly took control before Don Callis provided a distraction. Fletcher took advantage, shoving Briscoe off the top rope and sending him crashing through the table at ringside.

Fletcher then brought another table into the ring and drove Briscoe through it before dumping out a bucket of thumbtacks. Moments later, he delivered a suplex off the apron, sending Briscoe crashing onto the six chairs. Briscoe responded by placing Fletcher on a table inside the ring and climbing a ladder, but Fletcher met him at the top. Briscoe landed a clothesline off the ladder, putting both men through the table.

The final sequence saw Fletcher introduce a screwdriver. He twice drove it into Briscoe’s head, but Briscoe refused to stay down. Briscoe then delivered a brainbuster onto the tacks, followed by a Razor’s Edge that sent Fletcher through a barbed-wire-wrapped table. A piledriver sealed the victory, earning Briscoe the championship and allowing him to avoid being forced into the Don Callis Family.

Fletcher’s 115-day reign ends with seven successful title defenses, while Briscoe begins his first run with the TNT Title.
