NXT Viewership Rises on December 9 as 12/10 AEW Dynamite Also Sees Uptick – WWE NXT experienced a noticeable increase in viewership for its December 9 episode, continuing a positive trend heading into the end of the year. According to Programming Insider, NXT averaged 647,000 viewers on Tuesday night. That figure represents a solid jump from the previous week, when the show drew an average of 532,000 viewers. The 18–49 demographic rating also saw a slight rise, moving up to a 0.09 after posting a 0.08 the week prior.

The episode opened with a promo from NXT Champion Oba Femi, setting the tone for the night. Femi was quickly interrupted by Ricky Saints, who made it clear he wanted another opportunity to reclaim the NXT Championship. Before the situation could settle, Je’Von Evans entered the scene and added another layer to the story. Evans stated he did not want to wait until New Year’s Evil to cash in his Iron Survivor Challenge victory and demanded his title shot that same night.

In women’s action, Kelani Jordan picked up a win over Jordynne Grace in a competitive bout. Elsewhere on the card, Shiloh Hill made his NXT in-ring debut, defeating Lexis King and making a strong first impression. The main event saw Oba Femi successfully defend the NXT Championship against Je’Von Evans, retaining the title with assistance from Ricky Saints, further escalating tensions among the three competitors.
