Menard goes to comfort Garcia but Garcia shoves him away. Now Tony Schiavone has a microphone and starts to congratulate Garcia on the performance. Garcia interrupts him and says he’s got nothing to show for his five years of incredible performances. Garcia says Schiavone has been watching him for five years and knows that when Garcia falls, he gets back up. The crowd chants “Danny, Danny.” Garcia says it’s been a good five years, but sometimes good just ain’t good enough. Then he drops the mic and walks out while Menard follows him, protesting.
A recap airs of the main event and subsequent attack on Kenny Omega from “AEW Dynamite” on Wednesday.
