AEW taped the April 25 episode of Collision on April 22 from Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The show includes several key developments heading into Double or Nothing, along with multiple title matches and faction-based bouts.
One of the biggest moments from the taping saw FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) respond to the challenge made by Adam Copeland on Dynamite. They proposed an I Quit match at Double or Nothing, raising the stakes in their ongoing rivalry.
The AEW Trios Championships were also on the line during the taping. The team of Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O’Reilly successfully defended their titles against the Don Callis Family trio of Lance Archer, Hechicero, and Andrade El Idolo.
In tag team action, Sisters of Sin, made up of Skye Blue and Thekla, secured a win over Persphone and Alex Windsor. Another multi-man match featured The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Liona) defeating Chris Jericho alongside The Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin.
A large faction match also took place, with The Dogs (David Finlay and Clark Connors) teaming up with The Death Riders (Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli) to defeat The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Myron Reed, and Dezmond Xavier).
In singles competition, Kris Statlander picked up a victory over Becca, while RUSH defeated Adam Priest.
The AEW National Championship was also defended, with champion Jack Perry retaining his title against El Clon.
These results set the stage for upcoming storylines and matches as AEW continues to build toward Double or Nothing.
