It’s main event time!

Bandido, the ROH World Champion and one-half of the AEW World Tag-Team Champions Brodido with Brody King, makes his way out to the ring first as the challenger. The reigning, defending AEW Unified Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada is out next.

Don Callis joins the gang on special guest commentary for this one. The ring announcer handles the final formal pre-match ring introductions for the champion and the challenger, and then the bell sounds to get this title tilt officially off-and-running.

The crowd cheers as the two men finally lock up, with Bandido sending the champ to the ropes before the ref intervenes. He sends Okada to the ropes again but is taken down to the mat, before the challenger goes to the ropes again, sending Okada down with authority.

From there, he makes his trademark gun motion at Okada, who swats it away before clubbing away at the ROH World Champion. This leads to Bandido sending the Unified Champion to the outside, only to be forced to chase him around the ring.

He heads right into a boot by Okada. He fights Bandido on the guardrail before mocking the challenger’s family in the front row. Okada brings Bandido to his feet, before the challenger turns it around with a DDT off the apron sending the champ down hard to the floor.

On that note, the show shifts gears and heads into-a mid-match commercial break, our final advertising time out of the evening, as this main event title tilt continues. When the show returns, we see Okada deliver a scoop slam in the ring and follows with an elbow drop.

Okada goes for the Rainmaker, but Bandido dodges and drops Okada with a corkscrew cross-body. Bandido sends Okada to the floor and drops him with a dive. Bandido follows with another dive and gets him back into the ring. Bandido delivers quick strikes and follows with a dropkick.

Bandido connects with a frog-splash and goes for the cover, but Okada kicks out at two. Okada pulls Bandido’s arm over the middle rope, but Bandido comes back with right hands. Okada kicks Bandido in the shoulder a few times, and then follows with a shoulder-breaker.

The doctor checks on Bandido, but Okada gets him back into the ring and delivers elbow strikes to his shoulder. Bandido comes back and goes for the X Knee, but Okada counters out. Bandido delivers a big move and follows with the X-Knee.

Bandido delivers the 21 Plex and goes for a slow cover, but Okada is able to kick out at two. Okada comes back with a dropkick and goes for the Rainmaker, but Bandido counters into a roll-up for a two count. Bandido sends Okada to the corner and charges.

As he does, however, Okada drops him with a double kick to the chest. Okada goes for the Rainmaker, but Bandido counters and delivers one of his own. Bandido delivers the X Knee again, and then goes for 21 Plex. Okada counters out and hits the Rainmaker for the pin fall to retain his AEW Unified Championship.

Once the match wraps up, we see the rest of The Don Callis Family come out to the ring to celebrate with “The Rainmaker.” The new IWGP Champion Konosuke Takeshita comes out by himself and stares down Kazuchika Okada as he walks down the ramp .

Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher meet him on the entrance ramp and begin to talk to him. Meanwhile, we see Kazuchika Okada looking on and laughing as the show comes to a close. That’s how this week’s show wraps up, as we go off the air on that note. Thanks for joining us!
