AJ Lee Returns On WWE Smackdown, Goes After Becky Lynch

AJ Lee is officially back in WWE, making her return on Smackdown and going after Becky Lynch. Friday’s show saw Lynch and Seth Rollins come out to the ring for a promo, in which Rollins vowed that the legend of CM Punk would die tonight before bringing Lynch out. Lynch tried to shut down the AJ Lee chants that already came up and berated the city of Chicago before saying CM Punk sucks.

Punk then came out and said it wasn’t about Lynch; it was about her “coward of a husband.” Lynch fired back that it was about her and the two went back and forth as the Lee chants continued. Punk said that Lynch shouldn’t have stuck her nose in his business if she didn’t want to hear those chants and said he could have called Bayley or others to kick her ass, before Lynch slapped Punk again.

Punk walked out of the ring and Lynch called him an embarrassment to Chicago before Punk said he would never put his hands on a woman, but has someone who will. Lee then came out and skipped up to the ring, where Lynch tried to back down. Lee attacked and sent Lynch to the floor before Punk entered the ring and Rollins scrambled to Lynch. Lee jumped into Punk’s arms to end the show.

This marks Lee’s first WWE appearance since 2015, when she retired from the ring.
