Backstage News on Changes For Jungle Boy” Jack Perry – Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II pay-per-view saw Perry turn heel on FTW Champion Hook, right after losing to IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA.

Now Fightful Select reports that one of the changes has to do with Perry getting a new theme song.

In 2021, AEW President Tony Khan secured the rights to Baltimora’s “Tarzan Boy” single to use as Perry’s theme, which was a big hit with fans, and a significant piece of audience participation for AEW. Prior to that, Perry, Marko Stunt and current AEW TNT Champion Luchasaurus used another theme, which was featured on AEW’s Symphony Series II album.

It remains to be seen when Perry will start using the new theme song. He is scheduled to speak on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
