During last night’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view, The Great Khali, creator of the Punjabi Prison match made a surprise return to help Jindar Mahal defend his WWE Championship against Randy Orton. 
The Reason for his return, according to Dave Meltzer of today’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio is because WWE wants to use him to help get Jinder over more. Their original push of Jinder hasn’t really seen an upturn in revenue in the India market as they hoped for but Khail is a much bigger name and something of a legend in India so they
