Batista Wishes WWE Utilizes The Undertaker In The Right Way

• Old School WWF Midget Wrestler Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Midget Wrestler Dink The Clown (Real name: Claude Giroux) celebrates his 53rd birthday today.

Under the ring name “Tiger Jackson”, he used to wrestle in midget matches during the 80s & early 90s, including a stint in the World Wrestling Federation, where he joined The Bushwhackers in their rivalry against The Beverly Brothers and their sidekick, fellow midget wrestler Little Louie.

After a few appearances as a midget version of Randy Savage, called “The Macho Midget”, Giroux adapted the character of Dink The Clown, a midget version of Doink The Clown, who had just turned babyface a few weeks earlier, after Matt Borne was fired and Ray Apollo took over as Doink.

Dink accompanied Doink to the ring until both men left the WWF in mid-1995.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DINK THE CLOWN!

During a recent interview with GQ, former WWE Champion Batista talked about wanting The Undertaker to not wrestle Goldberg, if he would work a WWE PPV in Saudi Arabia & more.

Below are the highlights:

On WWE booking The Undertaker vs. Goldberg in 2019:

“I called, man. I called Taker and said, ‘Is there any way I could change your mind?’ He laughed, and I knew I couldn’t change his mind. He said ‘it sounded good when we first started talking about it.’

I only saw highlights which were, you know, low lights. It was not good. It’s just bad circumstances all the way around.

I feel like Taker’s there for the right reasons. I think he’s there because he still loves it. But I wish that they would utilize him in the right way.

I think a novelty match with Goldberg is the wrong way. I just don’t think it’s good for anybody and especially it’s not good for the fans.”

On if he would work a WWE PPV in Saudi Arabia:

“I wouldn’t have gone to Saudi at all. I don’t care who they would’ve booked me with. I just would not have gone.

But I loved my final match at WrestleMania [35], with Hunter [better known as Triple H]. The fans wanted to see two old guys go to war. That’s what we did. That’s the way the match was designed.”
