The Bella Twins made their return on the March 13 episode of WWE SmackDown, immediately positioning themselves as the next challengers for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Nikki Bella and Brie Bella appeared before the scheduled tag team match between The Irresistible Forces and the team of Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. During their appearance, the Bella Twins made it clear that they are targeting the Women’s Tag Team Titles and planned to closely watch the match to evaluate their potential competition.

The match itself saw Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair take on the powerful duo of Nia Jax and Raquel Rodriguez. The contest featured several momentum swings as both teams attempted to gain control.

At one point during the match, Nia Jax used Nikki Bella, who was sitting at ringside, as a shield during the action. The unexpected moment briefly distracted the competitors, but the match continued as Charlotte and Bliss began to gain momentum.

Charlotte appeared to have the match under control after delivering Natural Selection to Jax. With Jax down on the mat, Bliss climbed to the top rope and prepared to hit Twisted Bliss, which could have secured the victory.

However, the situation changed when Brie Bella suddenly interfered in the match. Her involvement caused the referee to call for a disqualification, ending the bout before a winner could be determined.

The interference prevented Bliss and Charlotte from potentially scoring the victory and immediately created tension between the teams involved.

Later in the show, the Bella Twins were shown backstage with Charlotte and Bliss. The two superstars were clearly frustrated about the way the match ended and confronted Nikki and Brie about the interference.

Nikki explained that they felt they had no choice but to get involved after Nia Jax had pulled her into the action earlier in the match.

Brie then made the Bella Twins’ intentions clear, announcing that they are now next in line for a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

With that statement, the segment suggested that Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss may no longer be in the immediate title picture, while the Bella Twins move forward as the latest challengers in the division.
