Bobby “Mo” Horne of Men on a Mission Passes Away at 58 – Bobby Horne, remembered by WWE fans as Mo from the tag team Men on a Mission, has passed away at the age of 58. The news was confirmed on Sunday through a Facebook post by Book Pro Wrestlers.

Horne had been facing serious health challenges in recent weeks. Earlier in October, reports revealed that he was in the ICU, battling a severe blood infection and pneumonia. These complications followed years of health struggles, including a kidney transplant in 2018 and a COVID-19 infection in 2022.

Horne’s wrestling journey began in 1991, when he first teamed with Nelson Frazier—who would later become known as Mabel. The duo signed with WWE in 1993 and were rebranded as Men on a Mission. With Oscar serving as their rapping manager, Mo and Mabel became one of WWE’s most entertaining tag teams of the mid-1990s.

Their biggest success came on March 29, 1994, when Men on a Mission defeated The Quebecers at a live event in England to win the WWE Tag Team Championship. The reign was short-lived, as they lost the belts back to The Quebecers just two days later in a rematch.

In 1995, the team turned heel, parting ways with Oscar. That same year, Mabel won the King of the Ring tournament, and Horne became known as Sir Mo, taking on a managerial role as Mabel’s on-screen ally. After leaving WWE in 1996, Horne wrestled on the independent circuit and made appearances in the USWA.

Tributes have already begun pouring in from across the wrestling world. WWE legend Leilani Kai shared, “It breaks my heart to hear that Bobby Horne, better known to wrestling fans as Sir Mo of Men on a Mission, has passed away. Bobby had that special kind of warmth that reminded you wrestling isn’t just about what happens in the ring — it’s about the people and memories that come with it. Rest in peace, my friend.”

Horne’s longtime partner, Nelson Frazier Jr. (known as Mabel and later as Viscera), passed away in February 2014 due to a heart attack.
