Booker T felt that Breakker should maybe stay longer on “NXT,” but understands why the youngster wants to move to the main roster.
“I said Bron Breakker may need another six months to a year, not that it was because I didn’t think he was ready or anything like that, I thought because ‘NXT’ needed him more than anything,” said Booker T. “But Bron Breakker made a statement on Twitter. He said the main roster is now his new home. I get it, the young guys want to move up and get a piece of that action — be able to travel, go around the world. You don’t get a chance to do that down in ‘NXT.’ Leaving ‘NXT’ is not going to get any easier. It’s going to get harder. So I respect someone like Bron Breakker who’s willing to partake that journey and go on and live it.”
The Hall of Famer also further analyzed Cargill’s performance. He stated that Cargill’s spinebuster at the women’s Royal Rumble looked great, apart from her impressive feat of throwing Nia Jax over the top rope.
“It looked like she did everything that she was very, very comfortable doing. She made everything look right. That’s what I loved about Jade Cargill, she didn’t look out of place at all. She looked totally in the spotlight, as far as ‘all eyes on me.’ It was one of those nights. She did a hell of a job,” said the two-time Hall of Famer.
