Brock Lesnar is officially back in WWE, and the company has now confirmed it in the most direct way possible.
Following his surprise return on the May 18 episode of WWE RAW in Greensboro, North Carolina, WWE has moved Brock Lesnar from the Alumni section back to the active roster, signaling that “The Beast Incarnate” is once again part of the company’s current talent lineup.
Lesnar’s return came in dramatic fashion. During Monday’s RAW, he stormed the ring and attacked Oba Femi, leaving the champion laid out. The moment immediately reignited speculation about Lesnar’s future, but WWE wasted no time making his status clear. By Tuesday, his profile had been fully restored to the active roster page.
Later in the same episode, Paul Heyman approached RAW General Manager Adam Pearce with a contract already signed by Lesnar for WWE Clash in Italy.
The only remaining step is Oba Femi’s signature — and given the storyline, the stakes, and the champion’s character, there is no logical reason to expect he will decline. The rematch is effectively set; the final confirmation now rests on Femi making it official.
Their first encounter took place at WrestleMania 42, where Oba Femi defeated Lesnar in a moment many fans interpreted as a retirement sendoff. Lesnar left his boots and MMA gloves in the ring, embraced Paul Heyman, and walked away. WWE later moved him to the Alumni section, reinforcing the belief that he was done.
But as Bully Ray recently pointed out, Lesnar never actually said the word “retired,” and WWE never announced it either. The door was always open — and now Lesnar has kicked it back down.
With Lesnar officially active again and a signed contract for Clash in Italy already in play, the company is clearly positioning the rematch as one of the marquee attractions of the May 31 premium live event.
