Chelsea Green Off Bed Rest One Week After Heart Procedure

Chelsea Green has provided a positive health update just one week after undergoing a procedure to treat a heart condition.

Green revealed on social media that she is officially off bed rest following her operation on May 4, which was done to correct supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), a condition that causes an abnormally fast heart rate originating in the upper chambers of the heart.

“1 week post op – off bed rest!,” Green wrote. “One thing about me: sitting still is my nightmare. Thank you to everyone who called, texted, dm’d, etc. I felt very, very loved this week.”

The update comes shortly after Green underwent treatment for the issue, which had reportedly affected her for some time before being properly diagnosed.

Green’s condition came to light around WrestleMania 42, when she experienced a serious episode that saw her heart rate spike to 228 beats per minute for nearly 15 minutes.

Following that scare, she moved forward with the procedure earlier this month and had been on bed rest during the initial recovery period.

Alongside her update, Green shared an image of multiple flower arrangements she received while recovering, including one sent by the “WWE: Unreal” docuseries team.

Despite being sidelined, Green still appeared on last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown through a pre-recorded social media video. During the segment, she continued her ongoing storyline involving Tiffany Stratton.

In the video, Green mentioned she had been trying to contact Stratton but had not received a response. She also apologized for not being present during Stratton’s Women’s United States Championship defense against Kiana James.

Green is a two-time Women’s United States Champion, with her most recent reign running from November 2025 through January 2026.

In addition to her recent heart procedure, Green has also been out of in-ring competition since February due to an ankle injury.

While there is still no official timeline for her return to action, her latest update suggests she is making steady progress in her recovery.
