CM Punk and Bron Breakker Face Off as “The Vision” Expands – The final episode of WWE RAW for 2025 opened with a major in-ring segment that set the tone for the final week of the year and next week’s World Heavyweight Championship match. Paul Heyman appeared alongside Bronson Reed and Logan Paul under the banner of The Vision, addressing the crowd as chants for Roman Reigns echoed through the arena. Heyman dismissed the chants before formally introducing Austin Theory as the newest member of the faction.
Theory took the microphone and briefly spoke about the significance of the moment, stating that he had waited his entire career for this opportunity. Heyman quickly cut him off, emphasizing that The Vision is not about individual success, but about the collective mission of the group. The message was clear from the outset: personal ambition comes second to the faction’s long-term goals.
The segment was interrupted by World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, who made his way to the ring and immediately targeted Theory with verbal shots, accusing him of “doing tricks and drinking gallons of the Kool Aid.” Punk made it clear he had no interest in hearing from Theory, stating that he was only there to speak with Breakker. He questioned whether anyone in The Vision had “a brain” and looked directly at Paul Heyman, saying the title match was already set for next week. Punk warned that if things turned physical prematurely, there would be no championship match.
Punk challenged Breakker’s mindset, asking whether he was tougher than he was smart. He said he preferred to look someone in the eye before putting them to sleep and dared Breakker to clear the ring unless he was scared. As Punk stood on the ring steps, Breakker fired back, claiming Punk was the only one afraid and inviting him into the ring while promising no one would touch him. On Heyman’s suggestion, the rest of The Vision exited, allowing the confrontation to continue one-on-one.
Once inside the ring, Punk referred to Breakker as “kid” and asked what exactly he had to say. Breakker responded with a passionate statement about identity, purpose, and dominance. He said The Vision looks toward the future and claimed he stands above the rest of the group, declaring himself the next World Champion. Breakker rejected the label of being “the future,” insisting instead that he is the now. He challenged Punk to find anyone who has risen faster, taken over in less time, or was born more naturally into the business than he was.
Breakker addressed criticism about his lineage and lack of independent wrestling experience, saying everything he has achieved has been under constant scrutiny. He contrasted Punk’s path with his own, stating that while Punk paid dues on the indies, he performed “under a microscope,” even referencing his time sharing the field with Lamar Jackson. Breakker concluded by saying he was willing to die for the title and promised to put Punk in the ground to become champion.
Punk responded calmly, saying Breakker’s first mistake was assuming what he thought of him. He admitted Breakker was more ready than almost anyone else but insisted he still was not ready to take the championship. Punk dropped the title belt in the ring and told Breakker to pick it up, warning that it was heavier than it looked. Punk said he was not ready to stop being champion and reminded Breakker that while he may be big, fast, and dangerous, one of us is CM Punk. He closed by saying that while someone will eventually beat him for the title, it will not be Breakker, and that he would see him next week.
