CM Punk Injury Update After WWE Clash at the Castle

CM Punk Injury Update After WWE Clash at the Castle – Sidelined since the Royal Rumble due to a triceps injury sustained from a Future Shock DDT by Drew McIntyre, CM Punk has remained active on WWE television, including serving as a referee at WWE Clash at the Castle, where he srewed The Scottish Warrior once again.

During the WWE Clash at the Castle press conference, Punk addressed his condition: “I’ve been cleared, but only for referee duty. I had a bit of a hiccup out there. We’ll go back to the lab and reassess. My arm feels amazing. I’ve been given permission to skip Raw in Corpus Christi to go home to Chicago to see my doctors with the hope of being fully cleared. I think SmackDown is in Chicago next week. I’m a Raw guy, but I’m going to skip Raw, get cleared, and hopefully show up to SmackDown to share the good news.”

The June 21st episode of WWE SmackDown is set to take place in Chicago, IL.
