CM Punk Reflects on WWE Title Win

CM Punk Reflects on WWE Title Win – Fresh off his championship victory at Saturday Night’s Main Event, CM Punk appeared at a Utah Mammoth hockey game, where he spoke with Nick Olczyk during an intermission about his recent success, his love of hockey, and what’s next for him in WWE.

“Yeah, I won the title here last night and a happy accident, I get to come watch some hockey today. I’m enjoying my day off,” Punk said, smiling as he discussed his eventful weekend.

When asked what it’s been like being back in WWE, Punk compared his current run to being a seasoned veteran in hockey, appreciating the chance to guide and compete alongside younger talent.

“Every day’s been like a dream. Honestly, every day is gratitude. Obviously, I love hockey so much, I draw the parallels between my wrestling career and hockey. And I’m the old guy in the room now,” Punk explained. “I’m happy I get to lace up my skates and have the privilege to walk the locker room and the halls with a lot of talented young stars and seeing all the fans, all the places I’ve been all around the world. Getting to revisit stuff and see the young and the old, we all love wrestling, it’s great. It’s been a dream.”

After discussing his passion for the sport and his impressions of the Mammoth, Punk lightheartedly teased his plans for the rest of the night — and what lies ahead on RAW.

“What’s next? What’s next is the next shift. Second period, I might go check what kind of food you guys have, send some pictures to my wife. If you guys got some crazy nachos or something, she’ll be excited,” Punk joked. “I’m on my way after the game to Albuquerque for Monday Night RAW, so tune in, Netflix, RAW, and let’s go Mammoth?”

CM Punk’s lighthearted comments and positive outlook reflect a performer fully embracing his return to WWE, combining his veteran presence with his trademark humor and passion.
