CM Punk is drawing attention ahead of his expected WWE return, as a recent fan-captured video suggests a noticeable physical transformation during his time away from television.
Punk has not appeared on WWE programming since the April 20 episode of Monday Night RAW, where he had a face-off with Cody Rhodes following WrestleMania weekend. His absence from TV has reportedly been due to scheduled time off rather than injury, as he was also removed from several advertised dates, including shows on the European Summer Tour and multiple June RAW events.
A video shared by a fan on X has now added to the conversation. The footage, which shows a gym setting, features Punk in the background looking visibly more muscular than he did during his last televised appearance. The most noticeable changes appear in his upper body, particularly his arms and shoulders.
While the clip is brief, it has quickly circulated online and led to speculation among fans about Punk’s preparation for an in-ring return. WWE has not confirmed any specific timeline for his comeback.
Despite the uncertainty, Punk is currently advertised for upcoming summer events, including a scheduled appearance on RAW on July 6 in Chicago. That date has become a potential target for his return, though no official announcement has been made.
For now, Punk’s status remains unchanged, but the new footage suggests he has been actively training during his time away from WWE television.
