Danhausen Scores Unique Win in WWE SmackDown Debut with Pyro-Filled Finish

Danhausen delivered one of the most unusual moments on the April 10 episode of WWE SmackDown, capping it off with a victory in his first WWE match.

The San Jose crowd reacted loudly when Danhausen made his entrance with roughly thirty minutes remaining in the broadcast. Kit Wilson followed, but the audience clearly backed the “Very Nice, Very Evil” star.

Once the match began, Danhausen showed more than just his character work. He mixed in solid offense early while also taking time to taunt The Miz at ringside. That distraction allowed Wilson to take control after catching Danhausen off guard.

Wilson kept the advantage for much of the match, but Danhausen stayed in it, fighting back and keeping the contest competitive. The turning point came when Wilson climbed to the top rope, looking to put the match away.

At that moment, Danhausen leaned into his signature antics. From the mat, he appeared to “curse” Wilson. Seconds later, a sudden pyro blast erupted near the top rope, startling Wilson and causing him to lose his balance. As Wilson fell, Danhausen capitalized with a big boot to secure the three count.

After the match, The Miz attempted to attack Danhausen from behind. However, the arena lights suddenly dropped, creating confusion at ringside. When visibility returned, Danhausen had already disappeared, avoiding any further confrontation and celebrating his win.

The segment gave Danhausen a memorable debut moment, combining his unique presentation with an in-ring victory. WWE appears to be fully embracing his character while positioning him as a competitor who can also pick up wins.
