During the September 15th set of WWE NXT television tapings that took place at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida, it was officially announced that the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will be taking place again this year.The first set of matches will begin on the October 5th edition of NXT and the finals of the second-annual tournament will take place at NXT TakeOver Toronto during WWE Survivor Series weekend on November 19th.The following first-round matches in the tournament were recorded as part of the tapings–The Authors of Pain defeated The Bollywood Boys–NXT Tag
