Dralistico Set for Surgery as AEW Star Remains Sidelined

Dralistico Set for Surgery as AEW Star Remains Sidelined – Dralistico has confirmed that he is preparing to undergo surgery, extending his time away from the ring after being absent for several weeks. AEW fans last saw him compete on the November 1 episode of AEW Collision (taped October 29), where he teamed with Sammy Guevara and The Beast Mortos in a losing effort during a six-man tag match. Since then, he has remained off television, and a new update shared on Instagram offers clarity on his current status.

In a video taken from his hospital bed, Dralistico appeared in his mask and shared that the time had come for him to head into the operating room. “The day has arrived. I’ll go into surgery in a bit and I’ll be in God’s hands, so that everything goes well. Thank you for your good wishes. Thank you @aew for your support.” While he acknowledged the procedure, he did not specify the exact nature of the injury that led to it. Recent reports suggested he had been dealing with an ear injury, but no official confirmation has been provided, and there is currently no estimated timeline for his return to competition.

Dralistico remains an important part of La Faccion Ingobernable, working in both AEW and Ring of Honor alongside Sammy Guevara, The Beast Mortos, and Rush. The group has stayed active in his absence, with Guevara and Mortos recently becoming ROH World Tag Team Champions at Final Battle. Their win followed the previous reign of Guevara and Rush, who were forced to vacate the titles earlier this year due to Rush suffering a knee injury.
