With WrestleMania 42 week underway in Las Vegas, WWE star Drew McIntyre shared a PSA message directed at fans who may cross paths with wrestlers during the busy stretch. His comments, delivered in a video posted on X, were clearly meant as sarcasm while addressing common issues talent face in public.
McIntyre framed his remarks as a list of “dos,” though the message behind them suggested the opposite. He joked about fans interrupting wrestlers during personal time, even when they are with friends or family.
“Do interrupt us when we’re having a conversation with friends and family. No one’s more important than you and getting that selfie in that little moment of downtime we get,” McIntyre said.
He continued by sarcastically encouraging fans to film wrestlers without permission, even when they are rushing between commitments.
“Do shove a camera in her face without asking. We love that. You don’t need our consent. No, no, no, no, it makes for a better flow from visibly rushing to an Uber or waiting for food or heading to an appearance as quick as we can. And we look like we’re the ones in the wrong. We love looking like we’re asses on camera. So yep, definitely do that.”
McIntyre also referenced fans who wait at hotels and airports, pointing out how frequently talent encounter the same individuals throughout the week.
“Do wait in the hotel or the airport for us. Nothing gives us more joy than seeing the same 20 people every day in the same spot. Yeah, the hotels are home for the week at WrestleMania, but hey, mi casa su casa, I guess, right?”
He then shifted to “don’ts,” continuing the sarcastic tone. McIntyre joked about not wearing deodorant in the Las Vegas heat and encouraged fans to use wrestlers’ real names instead of their ring names.
“You know us so well obviously. We love it when you do that, especially the girls. Make sure you call them by their government names. It’s not weird. It’s not creepy at all because you watch us on TV so you know it’s like that.”
The tone made it clear that McIntyre was highlighting behavior fans should avoid. His message served as a reminder to respect boundaries during one of the busiest weeks in wrestling.
McIntyre is scheduled to compete at WrestleMania 42, where he will face Jacob Fatu in an Unsanctioned Match on night one.
