While the inclusion of Punk on the card gives AEW fans the opportunity to see the company’s biggest star in the ring, there’s always the possibility of surprise returns or debut — especially given the fact this is the biggest show in their four-year history. IWGP United Kingdom Champion Will Ospreay is likely to feature at All In in singles competition, but Eric Bischoff would also like to see some former WWE stars show up on the night.
“I think Goldberg would be a big surprise and it would be exciting, I would get a kick out of that,” he said. “Sasha [Mercedes Mone] would be huge. Someone that was a huge star in WWE over the last couple of years –- whether it is Goldberg or more so Sasha Banks, she was more of a regular part of WWE –- either one of them would be a huge surprise.”
Mone — fka Sasha Banks — has been sidelined for a number of months with a leg injury, but could be cleared in time for an AEW debut. Golberg on the other hand is a free agent, with the 56-year-old’s contract with WWE expiring back in March and Khan has made no secret of his desire to bring the WCW icon into the fold.
