His comments, directed at both the United States and Mexico, sparked an intense reaction from the Houston crowd.

Page entered the ring to major heat and began tearing into American and Mexican culture. His remarks drew thunderous boos, leading to multiple instances where his mic had to be muted due to the crowd chanting phrases like “shut the f*ck up” and “asshole.” The negative reaction, however, seemed to be the exact outcome Page was looking for, as he used the chaos to build his heel persona further.

After delivering a fiery anti-USA and anti-Mexico tirade, Page pulled back a cloth in the middle of the ring to reveal a redesigned North American Championship. The new belt featured a red-and-white strap modeled after the Canadian flag, with a maple leaf motif integrated into the design.

Page then continued his promo by extolling the virtues of Canadian life, claiming Canadians are healthier, better-looking, more honorable, and live cleaner lives compared to their southern neighbors. He capped off his monologue by singing the Canadian National Anthem—only to be interrupted by Santino Marella.

Santino, who now resides in Canada, took exception to Page’s inflammatory remarks. He acknowledged his Italian roots and expressed disgust over Page’s rhetoric, calling him a “bumhole boy” and saying Canadians don’t share Page’s attitude. Santino emphasized that the North American Title should be held by someone who embodies honor, pride, and class.

Page fired back by telling Santino to “go back to TNA,” mocking his legacy and trying to dismiss him. However, Santino revealed he had already spoken to NXT General Manager Ava and that a match was in the works. When Page challenged him to fight on the spot, Santino raised his iconic Cobra, prompting Page to retreat from the ring.

Shortly after the segment, WWE confirmed that a match between Ethan Page and Santino Marella will take place on the July 29 episode of NXT.
