Ethan Page continues to build momentum within WWE, and a new report indicates that his rise has been backed by strong support behind the scenes since his arrival in 2024.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, Page has made a positive impression internally through his work across multiple platforms, including NXT, AAA, and now the main roster. The update came on the same day Page is set to compete in the biggest match of his WWE career so far.
Page will challenge Penta for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at tonight’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, which takes place at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. This marks Page’s first opportunity at a main roster title since joining the company.
Per WrestleVotes, “On the day of the biggest WWE match of his career to date, it’s worth noting how well received Ethan Page has been internally since arriving in WWE back in 2024.”
The report added, “A source once described Page as extremely respectful and detail-oriented behind the scenes, something that many feel has translated onto television throughout his time in NXT, AAA, and now Monday Night Raw. Regardless of tonight’s outcome, those spoken to believe Page has positioned himself very well moving forward, especially considering how quickly he’s risen in a relatively short amount of time.”
Page signed with WWE in the summer of 2024 after his contract with All Elite Wrestling expired. He debuted in NXT and was quickly pushed as a top heel, eventually capturing the NXT Championship. His transition to the main roster began in early 2026, where he has been featured on RAW while also taking part in WWE’s crossover programming with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide.
Heading into Saturday Night’s Main Event, Page enters with growing credibility both on-screen and behind the scenes, as he looks to capitalize on the biggest opportunity of his WWE run so far.
