During the interview, Aichner reflected on their shared journey and acknowledged Kaiser’s recent momentum in Mexico.

“There’s a bunch of those El Grande Americanos I’ve noticed so we don’t really know who’s who but, let’s just assume one of them was him,” Aichner said with a smile while speaking about Ludwig Kaiser. “No, kudos to him. We came up in NXT together. We were the only two German-speaking people there so we did everything together. I know the hardships he went through because we went through it together in NXT and I know all the sacrifices that went into that journey because you have to remember, you’re moving halfway around the world. You’re leaving everything that you’ve known up until that point, including family. You leave everything behind in order to achieve that goal, to achieve that dream, to get to the main stage and to realize the dream that you worked so hard for. He’s always had a great mindset for wrestling, he’s always known what was important and if you look at the reactions that he’s getting now in Mexico, you don’t get those kinds of reactions if you’re not doing something right so, it’s good to see that he’s doing great. I’m happy for him, and yeah, pays off. Hard work pays off.”

Kaiser recently competed at AAA Noches de Los Grandes, where he headlined the first week of the event. Wrestling under the El Grande Americano identity, he secured a victory in a Mask vs. Mask match against Chad Gable, who portrayed the original version of the character.

Aichner’s comments highlight the long-standing connection between the two, dating back to their time in NXT as part of Imperium. While their careers have since taken different paths, both continue to find success on the international stage.
