Former WWE Stars to Make AEW Debut on 4/27 Collision

Former WWE Stars to Make AEW Debut on 4/27 Collision – AEW is bringing in some notable stars for Saturday’s Collision.

Previously announced for the show include AEW World Heavyweight Champion Swerve Strickland opening the show with a promo, AEW Unified Trios Champions Jay White, Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn defending against Darius Martin, Dante Martin & Action Andretti, and Toni Storm vs. Anna Jay.

The promotion confirmed today that Grizzled Young Veterans, also known as Grizzled Young Vets, which consists of James Drake and Zack Gibson, will make their AEW debut on the show.

The tag team joined WWE in 2018, becoming the inaugural UK Tag Team Champions. They were later moved to the NXT brand once NXT UK shut down and asked to be released last year, something that was granted. They went to TNA Wrestling and recently announced plans to start their own promotion.

They called out The Acclaimed and said the tag team was an embarrassment. You can see the announcement below:
