GoFundMe Launched for Ridge Holland

GoFundMe Launched for Ridge Holland – As noted, Ridge Holland’s WWE contract was originally set to expire on November 14. However, the 37-year-old former rugby league player was released earlier than expected following a reported breach of contract. WWE has now officially moved Holland, whose real name is Luke Menzies, to the alumni section of its roster page, confirming his departure from the company.

Holland’s situation has been made even more difficult due to ongoing medical and financial challenges. He suffered a severe Lisfranc foot injury during a TNA appearance on behalf of WWE in September, an injury that has since left him unable to work. In response, a GoFundMe campaign was launched to help support Holland, his wife, and their three children during this difficult period.

The fundraiser, organized by Susan Chapman of Saint Cloud, Florida, seeks to raise $60,000 to cover essential expenses. The campaign describes Holland as “a hardworking husband” with “a devoted wife” and “three beautiful children,” facing the devastating reality of an injury that “threatens to take it all away.”

Because Holland was classified as a 1099 independent contractor, he is not eligible for workers’ compensation or paid medical leave. The page also reveals that his family has already endured a 55% pay cut since he re-signed with WWE in 2024. As a result, they are struggling to keep up with mortgage payments and basic living costs, with the campaign warning that they are “at risk of losing their home” and could face “a holiday season filled with fear and uncertainty rather than joy.”

The GoFundMe aims to help the family with mortgage payments, travel for hospital visits, food, and other necessary expenses. Holland may soon undergo neck fusion surgery, with another procedure scheduled for March 2026. His recovery timeline could keep him sidelined until at least April or May of next year.

Fellow WWE star Chelsea Green has shown public support for her former colleague, sharing the GoFundMe link on social media and pledging to donate $1,000 per month to assist the family during this difficult time.
