IShowSpeed Reacts to WrestleMania 42 Match Announcement

IShowSpeed has shared his reaction after being added to the card for WWE WrestleMania 42, calling the opportunity a major moment in his career.

The popular content creator confirmed on his YouTube channel that he will compete on April 18 during night one of the event. He is scheduled to team with Logan Paul and Austin Theory in a six-man tag team match against LA Knight and The Usos.

During his stream, IShowSpeed spoke openly about what the moment means to him.

“I’m going to be wrestling at WrestleMania, chat, clap it up,” he said.

“I would’ve never thought that I was going to be wrestling at WrestleMania like this.”

He also reflected on his long-time connection to WWE, noting that it was one of the first forms of entertainment he followed growing up.

“I’ve been a fan of WWE since I was (a kid). I think that was the first sport that I actually got introduced to, bro, was WWE, and I’m not even trolling. Like, I think WWE was the first thing that I got into. Since I was four. So this is crazy. It’s really crazy. We used to wrestle all the time, bro.”

“Me personally, this is like one of them crazy moments.”

The match was officially confirmed during this week’s episode of WWE RAW. The setup came after Theory defeated Knight in the opening match. During that bout, Logan Paul interfered by pushing IShowSpeed into Knight, causing a distraction that allowed Theory to secure a roll-up victory.

After the match, Knight addressed the situation in a promo and called for a six-man tag team match at WrestleMania. WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce then appeared and made the match official for the event.

The addition of IShowSpeed adds mainstream attention to the WrestleMania lineup, with WWE continuing to incorporate crossover personalities into key matches. The bout also advances the ongoing rivalry involving Logan Paul, LA Knight, and Austin Theory, now expanded into a larger tag team setting.
