Jade Cargill Brutally Attacks Tiffany Stratton on SmackDown – WWE SmackDown delivered a shocking turn of events on October 24 from the Mullett Arena in Tempe, Arizona, as Jade Cargill made a surprise return and attacked WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. The show marked the second-to-last episode before the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The night began with Stratton picking up a non-title victory over Kiana James. However, her celebration was short-lived when WWE Women’s United States Champion Giulia stormed the ring and launched a post-match assault. Just as it seemed Stratton was outnumbered, Jade Cargill’s music hit to a massive reaction from the crowd. Cargill sprinted to the ring, taking out both James and Giulia, and appeared to stand in solidarity with the Women’s Champion—until she didn’t.
After raising Stratton’s hand, Cargill suddenly attacked her, unleashing a ruthless beatdown that spilled to ringside. Officials rushed in to stop the assault, but Cargill repeatedly broke free, inflicting more punishment. The segment ended with Cargill standing tall, picking up Stratton’s title belt, glaring at it, and then dropping it before walking away.
Later backstage, Cathy Kelley caught up with Cargill for a comment. When asked about her actions, Cargill coldly stated, “The world doesn’t reward patience, it rewards power.” She then made it clear that she intends to take Stratton’s title, declaring that she’s coming for the gold.
WWE has since confirmed that Tiffany Stratton will defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1. The event will also feature Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre, and CM Punk facing Jey Uso for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
