Jelly Roll has become one of the most recognizable names in music in recent years, and his appearance on WWE SmackDown marks his first time sitting down for a Miz TV segment. Celebrity appearances on WWE programming often lead to further involvement, especially during the WrestleMania season.

Recent reports have indicated that WWE is finalizing plans for Jelly Roll to appear at WrestleMania 42. While the exact details of that potential appearance have not yet been confirmed, his scheduled segment on WWE SmackDown could serve as the first step in building toward a role at the event.

WrestleMania 42 will take place on April 18 and April 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. WWE has frequently used celebrity appearances in the weeks leading up to the show to help promote the event and create additional mainstream attention.

Along with Jelly Roll, a few other segments and matches have been announced for SmackDown.

The current lineup includes Jade Cargill facing Michin in singles competition. The show will also feature a WrestleMania 42 contract signing between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton ahead of their Undisputed WWE Championship match at the event.

With WrestleMania season continuing, the March 13 episode of WWE SmackDown is expected to further develop storylines leading into WWE’s biggest show of the year.
