The event streamed from the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas, and the closing match delivered the drama expected from a bout that guarantees its winner a future NXT Championship opportunity.

The match featured Je’Von Evans, Joe Hendry, Myles Borne, Leon Slater, and Dion Lennox. Slater and Evans opened the contest, setting a quick tempo from the start. As the first five minutes expired, Evans secured the opening pinfall, placing himself early in the lead. Myles Borne entered next and chose to go right after Evans, trying to regain control of the match.

Dion Lennox joined the bout without a second pinfall on the board and quickly became a target. Despite that pressure, Lennox managed to score a fall on Evans, pulling himself even. Joe Hendry entered in the final slot with significant support from the crowd, and he capitalized on the momentum by pinning Borne.
