Jim Ross Visits ER for Shortness of Breath – In a recent post on X, AEW announcer Jim Ross revealed that he had to make an unexpected visit to the ER due to shortness of breath while back home in Norman, Oklahoma. This health issue also caused him to miss this week’s episode of his podcast, Grilling JR.

Ross tweeted: “Unexpected trip to ER in Norman this morning. Shortness of the breath. That’s all for now.”

The legendary announcer has faced several health challenges in recent years. He underwent cancer surgery in early February and dealt with a broken hip earlier this year. Fans and colleagues alike are wishing him a speedy recovery.

Jim Ross, who joined AEW in 2019 as the lead play-by-play announcer for television and pay-per-view events, has primarily been involved in pay-per-view events over the past year. Despite this, he has expressed interest in taking on more roles within the promotion. In February, Ross signed a one-year deal with AEW.

It remains uncertain whether this recent health scare will affect his participation in Sunday’s Double or Nothing PPV.
