Joe Jonas to Perform National Anthem at WrestleMania 42 Sunday

WWE has announced that Joe Jonas will be part of WrestleMania weekend, performing the national anthem to open WrestleMania 42 Sunday.

The company confirmed the news on Wednesday, adding another major name to the weekend lineup. Jonas, a multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated artist, will kick off the broadcast before the in-ring action begins.

“Multi-platinum and grammy-nominated recording artist @joejonas will be performing the National Anthem to kick off WrestleMania 42 Sunday! 🎶”

His appearance continues a long-standing WrestleMania tradition of high-profile musical performances. Over the years, artists such as Gene Okerlund, Aretha Franklin, Jelly Roll, Willie Nelson, and Ray Charles have performed either the national anthem or “God Bless America” at WrestleMania.

Jonas’ involvement adds to WWE’s overall presentation for WrestleMania 42, which already features a notable opening for the first night of the event. As previously reported, Lin-Manuel Miranda is narrating the Saturday cold open, helping set the tone for the show.

With both nights featuring recognizable names outside of wrestling, WWE continues to position WrestleMania as a major entertainment event beyond the ring. WrestleMania 42 Sunday is set to be headlined by CM Punk facing Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Title, alongside several other high-profile matches.

The addition of Jonas brings another mainstream element to WrestleMania 42 as WWE finalizes its biggest event of the year.
