Ruthless Aggression Era Veteran Nathan Jones celebrates his 50th birthday today.

After serving 7 years in a maximum-security prison and later competing in ‘World’s Strongest Man’ contests, as well as doing an MMA fight for UFC’s then rival promotion Pride F.C., Nathan Jones became a professional Wrestler in 2001, joining World Wrestling Entertainment in late 2002.

At WrestleMania XIX, he teamed with the legendary Undertaker in a Tag Team match against Big Show & A-Train, before turning heel later that year, when he became a Paul Heyman guy.

Nathan hated the WWE’s travel schedule, so he quit a few weeks before the 2004 Royal Rumble, and went on to become an Hollywood actor, playing in movies such as Troy, The Condemned & Mad Max Fury Road.

• Jon Jones Makes Another Comment Regarding Brock Lesnar Wanting To Fight Him

During a recent appearance on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle revealed that Brock Lesnar told him he’s interested in a fight with UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones.

Below is what Angle said:

“I know he said he’s retired…the one fight he wants, and I don’t know if it’s ever going to happen, but he wants to go up against Jon Jones.”

Below is what Jones responded:

Jones made another comment regarding this situation on Instagram and you can read it below:

“He knows that’s what his friends want to hear, but he doesn’t really want this fight. Trust me.”

For those who don’t remember, Jones called out Lesnar for a fight back in 2017 in a post-fight interview at UFC 214. You can watch it below:

Below is what Jones said in the post-fight interview:

“Brock Lesnar, if you want to know how it feels like to get your a$$ kicked by a guy who weighs 40 pounds less than you, meet me in the Octagon!”

Lesnar issued the following statement to Associated Press after this:

“Be careful what you wish for, young man.”

Lesnar is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and has an MMA record of 5-3-1 NC. On the other hand, Jones is a two time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion (currently in his second reign) and has a record of 25-1-1 NC (it should be noted that Jones’ only loss was via disqualification).
