Jonathan Gresham Sidelined With An Injury – Jonathan Gresham is currently sidelined with an injury. Beyond Wrestling announced the unfortunate news via a social media post on Monday. Gresham had been scheduled to face Ryan Clancy at the promotion’s ‘Americanrana’ event on August 13, but the match will now be postponed due to his injury.

The specific details of Gresham’s injury have not been disclosed, but it was mentioned that he sustained the injury during a recent training session. As a result, he is expected to be out of action for a period of 4-6 weeks.

“BREAKING: Jonathan Gresham sustained an injury yesterday during training and will be out 4-6 weeks. We wish The Octopus a speedy recovery and hope to find a new opponent for @FancyRyanClancy for #Americanrana this Sunday in Worcester.”

In light of this setback, Beyond Wrestling is now actively searching for a suitable replacement to take Gresham’s place in the scheduled match against Ryan Clancy.

Gresham, known by the moniker “The Octopus,” has been a prominent figure on both the independent wrestling circuit and in IMPACT Wrestling. His last match was at the IMPACT TV tapings on July 28.

Apart from his contributions to IMPACT, Gresham has been consistently active on the independent wrestling scene in recent months. His wrestling resume includes appearances for prestigious promotions like Prestige, Battle Slam, and Wrestling REVOLVER, among others.
