Konnan Is Mad AAA Hasn’t Expanded To The United States, But Still Negotiating

According to the former WCW United States Champion, AAA is currently working with a group of venture capitalists that claim to be the brains behind Formula 1 Racing’s burgeoning popularity in the US. AAA officials are hoping to put together a show like “Formula 1: Drive To Survive” which laid the groundwork for F1’s new popularity, hoping to sell the show to either Netflix or Hulu. “You need money and you need to prove yourself.”

Konnan tried to diagnose the reasons why AAA has been unable to break through in the US, and he blames the situation on the promotion itself.

“I think we’ve stopped our own progression in the United States by being disorganized,” Konnan confessed, “not being on time and doing a lot of sh**, shooting ourselves in the foot.” Konnan notes that the idea of AAA coming to the United States has become something of a running joke, but he’s adamant that all of his and AAA’s attempts have been in good faith.

“I’m the first one that’s mad that we’re still not in the United States, but I can tell you this, these are the correct people, these are the people that are going to take us where we need to go.”
