LA Knight Vs GUNTHER Set for Tournament Finals on 12/5 WWE SmackDown – WWE RAW on December 1 opened with a major semi-final bout in The Last Time Is Now tournament, as LA Knight went one-on-one with Jey Uso.
The match built steadily toward a dramatic closing stretch, with Uso appearing moments away from advancing. After landing a superkick, a spear, and a top-rope splash, Uso had Knight down for what seemed like a guaranteed finish. Knight kicked out at the last possible moment, shifted his weight, and caught Uso in a sudden Crucifix Pin to score the victory and secure his place in the tournament final.
Later in the night, GUNTHER and Solo Sikoa met in the second semi-final, delivering a physical encounter that unfolded exactly as expected given the rivalry between their respective camps. Talla Tonga made his presence felt in the final moments, dragging GUNTHER out of the ring and holding him in position for Sikoa, who prepared to deliver a Samoan Spike. Before Sikoa could strike, the referee intervened, giving GUNTHER the opening he needed to escape Tonga’s grip.
With the official still turned away from the interference, GUNTHER struck Sikoa with a low kick and immediately followed with a powerbomb to secure the three-count. The win sends the former multi-time champion to the tournament final, where he will now meet LA Knight.
The tournament final is set for the December 5 episode of WWE SmackDown. The winner will move on to face John Cena in his final match, scheduled for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on Saturday, December 13. WrestlingAttitude.Com will provide complete coverage as the tournament reaches its conclusion.
